Facts of Life: a secret to inner peace and happiness

There are facts of life that must be acknowledge in order to achieve inner peace and happiness even in the midst of outer mess the world often imposes to individual lives. Otherwise, we’d live without grips to what we can control, namely, our emotions and attitude. We’d think that we have control over our lives but when challenges come up, we’d realize that we have been living in illusion, rendering us unhappy. There are facts of life that just are, and there is nothing we can do about them but accept them and make the most out of them:

  1. Hardships
  2. Hardwork
  3. Pain 
  4. Failure
  5. Success
  6. Happiness 
  7. Pleasure

Like natural turbulences, these facts of life create the rhythm that defines life: a character-building process. How we go about this process affects how we inspire others.
